Terms & Conditions / Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 5, 2026
Welcome to BD Notary Solutions.
By using our website or requesting our mobile notary, apostille, signing, or related services,
you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Services
BD Notary Solutions provides mobile notary and related document services, which may include general notarization, mobile appointments, apostille facilitation, document signing services, and other services described on our website.
Services are subject to availability and applicable laws and regulations.
2. Not Legal Advice
BD Notary Solutions and its notaries are not attorneys and do not provide legal, financial, immigration, tax, or other professional legal advice.
A notary cannot determine which documents you need, advise you on the legal effect of a document, prepare legal documents for you, or recommend which legal option you should choose.
If you need legal advice, you should consult a qualified attorney or other appropriate professional.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
-
Providing valid, acceptable identification when required
-
Presenting complete documents that are ready for notarization
-
Ensuring that all required signers are present when the appointment begins
-
Understanding the documents they are signing
-
Providing accurate contact and appointment information
-
Informing us of any special requirements before the appointment
-
Ensuring that documents meet the requirements of the receiving agency, organization, or jurisdiction
BD Notary Solutions may decline or postpone a notarization when required by law or when the legal requirements for notarization have not been satisfied.
4. Identification and Willingness to Sign
The signer must provide identification that meets applicable requirements when identification is required.
The signer must also appear to understand the document and be willing to sign voluntarily. A notary may refuse to perform a notarization when legally required or when the notary has a reasonable basis to believe the requirements for notarization have not been met.
5. Appointments and Mobile Services
Mobile notary appointments are scheduled based on availability.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate service location and being available at the scheduled appointment time.
Additional travel or service charges may apply depending on the location, appointment time, distance, or special circumstances. Applicable fees will be communicated before services are provided whenever reasonably possible.
6. Fees and Payment
Service fees are based on the services requested and may include:
-
Notary service fees
-
Mobile or travel fees
-
Apostille or document-processing fees
-
Government fees
-
Third-party fees
-
Printing, copying, shipping, or other applicable charges
Unless otherwise stated, government and third-party fees are separate from BD Notary Solutions' service fees.
Payment may be required before or at the time services are provided.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that plans may change. Customers are encouraged to provide advance notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.
Appointments canceled, missed, or rescheduled without sufficient notice may be subject to a cancellation, travel, or scheduling fee.
Any applicable fee will be communicated based on the circumstances of the appointment.
8. Apostille and Authentication Services
BD Notary Solutions may provide apostille or authentication facilitation services by submitting eligible documents to the appropriate government authority or agency.
An apostille or authentication cannot be guaranteed because approval is determined by the issuing government authority.
Processing times may vary depending on the government agency, document type, jurisdiction, mailing times, holidays, agency closures, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Government and third-party fees are separate from BD Notary Solutions' service fees unless specifically stated otherwise.
9. Document Accuracy and Eligibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and authentic documents.
BD Notary Solutions does not guarantee that a document will be accepted by a particular government agency, court, business, foreign government, financial institution, school, or other receiving organization.
Customers should confirm the specific document requirements with the agency or organization receiving the document.
10. Refusal of Service
BD Notary Solutions reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service when permitted or required by law, including circumstances involving:
-
Insufficient or unacceptable identification
-
Incomplete or improperly prepared documents
-
Lack of willingness or apparent understanding by a signer
-
Suspected fraud, coercion, or illegal activity
-
Documents that cannot legally be notarized
-
Unsafe or inappropriate conditions
-
Failure to pay required fees
A refusal to notarize does not necessarily mean that a document is invalid. It may simply mean that the legal requirements for notarization have not been satisfied.
11. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control
BD Notary Solutions is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including government processing delays, postal or shipping delays, severe weather, traffic, natural disasters, power or internet outages, agency closures, or other unforeseen circumstances.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BD Notary Solutions is not responsible for losses, delays, rejection of documents, or other consequences resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by a customer, failure of a receiving organization to accept a document, government processing delays, third-party actions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights or obligations that cannot legally be waived or limited.
